What Is the Process?
The road to recovery is not an easy one. It requires time and effort. The first step is to admit that you have a problem. After that you will want to call us so that we can help you select a rehab facility that best fits all of your needs.
Everyone suffers from a different addiction and for different reasons so everyone will enter rehab will different needs. But most rehab plans consist of some form of detox to clean the body followed by therapy to clean the mind.
In detox, your body will try to break the chemical dependency to the drugs or alcohol you abused during your addiction. When this happens you may experience some withdrawal symptoms. When you enroll into an inpatient rehab program you will be kept comfortable while dealing with those symptoms under medical supervision.
After detox you can begin to undercover what caused your addiction through therapy sessions. It is important to know why you took to drugs and alcohol in the first place so that you can avoid going down that same road after your complete rehab. Therapy can also teach you different ways to handle stress and bad days so that you do not even need to think about using harmful substances to fill those holes.
