Located in the heart of Cleveland, OH, Stella Maris provides transformational chemical dependency and mental health treatment services to adults ages 18+ regardless of their race, religion, how the identify, or their ability to pay. Founded in 1948, Stella Maris is the only agency that provides a full continuum of services on one campus. This includes continuum of care includes withdrawal management (detoxification), inpatient residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, recovery management, and certified recovery housing. This continuum of care is augmented with wraparound services including primary care medical services, psychiatric services, trauma therapy, case management, family therapy, art therapy, equine therapy through Fieldstone Farms, group therapy, music therapy in partnership with The Music Settlement , 12- step groups, medication assisted treatment (MAT), post-acute withdrawal management, peer support, and workforce development programs that include one-on-one coaching, role-playing for interviews, goal setting, culinary training, and serves as a source of consistent support and encouragement. Specialized care is available for veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence, and the LGBTQ+ community.
