first off the only reason this even says one star under my review is because it forces you to at least choose one star so let's get that out of the way right off the bat. A sober living place should be a place for people with substance abuse issues can go to try to straighten out and get their lives back on track. I'm no genius, and would not even consider myself that smart of a person at all but I don't think it should take one to believe that the people that work at these places should care for these people and try the best that they can to take care of them. Nobody is perfect and I understand that things happen but to have yet another death of a really good friend of mine in your establishment is beyond belief. This place, it's employees, and anyone else who has ever said something positive about it should be ashamed of themselves. I don't care if you think this place saved your life I don't care if you think this place did good for you you know what this place actually did? kill or atleast facilitate doing it to a really good friend of mine. This place cares so much about its clients and the people it's supposed to be taken care of that they didn't even reach out to my friend's mother to let them know that her son had passed away what kind of disgusting crap is that. I don't know how many other people this has happened to but I do know that one just one is way too many and I will find out how many more that's happened to and I will seek Justice one way or another. For those of you that went here and got yourself sober don't think the staff don't think anybody that has anything to do with that place because you did it yourself and from what I can tell you're lucky that they didn't sabotage the entire thing and that you're still alive. I will do everything I can to set up meetings with anybody that works there in everyone that works there and anybody that's gone there and any other stories that I can find I'm a nobody I don't have much to live for I'm an addict myself but this this here is something that I will never be able to get past he was a friend and it should have never happened. Justice will find a way into this story before it's over I promise you that. Rich, Michelle and everyone else there's nothing that could be said so I won't even try but I will promise you I will not stop until someone pays for what happened

This particular treatment center has a particular 45 year old male employee who acts inappropriately.... I would not recommend utilizing this facility to anyone whom themselves or family members require assistance for substance abuse as it is clear that the McCall center does not value their clients and is only profiting ...

Strengths: Counselor one on one, great nutrition, and classes... Weaknesses: Not enough outside or in coming AA or NA meetings.. They teach so much to remember it all, treatment is not just about drugs.. It teaches a new life to live..

When I was so sick and had to go to the first hospital and other appts., the Director herself came by to see me, picked me up and dropped me off. She was very accommodating. The chef went out of his way to provide me with a special diet that was low or no sodium. He researched cirrhosis to accommodate me. The staff was very concerned, kind, and compassionate through my in and out of the facility and hospitals. I still keep in touch with them and keep them informed and aware of my progress and sober accomplishments. They showed me genuine acceptance and compassion and were very encouraging. I recommend Carnes Weeks to anyone I come across looking for a good rehab. I love that place!
