Called to schedule an assessment for my daughter who is very depressed. We scheduled an appointment the same day I called. The woman on the phone was kind and responsive. However, we arrived to a crowded waiting room and waited over two hours. I finally came to the conclusion they did not have enough resources to handle the patient load so we left.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The wait for assessment was several hours, when I asked how much longer, they said more counselors would be coming in soon. Why schedule me if you couldn’t do it at that time? Once I finally spoke with counselor explained severe anxiety and hypersensitivity and explained I wouldn’t be an immediate candidate for group therapy. They told me to come back next day for registration. They were all about taking my money up front but nobody could answer what treatment would look like. Waiting room had fluorescents, lamps, TV screaming, standing room only, overwhelming smells, bathrooms were nasty, people dipping ice out of the empty ice water container, and the list goes on. Paperwork was overwhelming, ambiguous, and given nothing to write on, and no way I was touching those tables. After I handed it back half finished and told them it was causing extreme anxiety, they took it back and came out 30 minutes later only to tell me that it would be group therapy and this probably wasn’t the place for me. I was then told to seek a psychiatrist and they would go get me some names. Waited another 20 minutes and left, empty handed, they never came back out. Mind you, this is after they took my money, insisted on it before I even completed registration. Called back to get money refunded and they couldn’t put it back on card, but could send in form of check that would take 1-2 weeks. This place only made things worse - avoid if at all possible!

This place is life changing. Felt comfortable with drink dispensers right next to the rooms. Tv and phone time was cool. They had plenty to do during the day like therapy classes, karaoke, computer therapy. Awesome and friendly staff. Just an amazing place! Highly recommend this place!

If you need help, ready for an extended family of people dealing with “your” issues; this is your answer. I found it met my needs. The check in process takes more than a moment, but worth the wait to lift a weight off your shoulders. Been there. The negative comments on this thread were people avoiding the system, or any help. Trouble makers, not wanting help, ( truly In need, will be removed so you can speak honestly in a group), you will not be compromised. Reach out for the help you need. Always felt safe and a place to speak my feelings and listen. The first day is stressful. It’s all gravy after that! I give it a 5 of 5. Yet, there is always people that feel entitled. Staff is there for you, always!

I asked for extra days after detox, but my meds were increased so much that I was not able to go to the morning groups, so they discharged me. They are payed for each intake evaluation and the turnover of patience is in there Best interests. This is sad but it's true

I must say, in inpatient adolescent care was.. an experience, to put it as lightly as possible. It was strict, but unfortunately for some that's not good. Waiting at least a day to access the cafeteria is just silly, especially when teenage men and women are there to obtain stability- instead treated as if they must work for rights. Some might say that's beneficial, but I say otherwise to that. And good heavens, it's nowhere near cheap. If you're there to put a timid and reserved young soul, I wouldn't recommend this place.
