I wish I could have selected zero stars because JCMH has only made me feel worse instead of better. I went to JCMH for three and a half years for weekly Psychotherapy. The therapists there are like a revolving door. Always retiring or moving on. Often times their Crisis Line does not return my calls. I gave up on them and I am done with trying to help myself get better. Just going to live with my mental Illness and hopefully undo the damage that JCMH did to me.

I am grateful that Jackson County Mental Health and Human Services is around. Having them around allows me to see a mental health counselor so that I may be able to discuss my issues through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which implements common-sense techniques for improving your mind and mood. Now studying Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO DBT) which is a new treatment for patients who suffer from emotional over-control.
