This place is not trying to be nice at all. It is the epitome of filth. Staff here looks down upon all who enter as they find themselves "better humans" than their clients. Do not go in at night, wait times are ridiculous. But it is what it is. Go to any intervention location during the week, for they are far better than iccs. If you have to go on a weekend, shoot for early morning to avoid waits.

The staff was professional. But You need Cash. Exact amount. I had to walk to Sheridan to use the ATM, because I didn't want to spend another $15 on UBER, since the pretrial sheet said they are open 24/7. But when I made it back, They were already closing? So Just be aware of that. At least they were kind enough to be understanding and give me a credit. Jeffco needs more late night options for the blue collars.

Delapitated, run down structure. Probably haunted from when it was a tuberculosis hospital back in the 1800s when there wasn't a treatment for it. Mice, rats, roaches, bed bugs, I'm sure all keep the poor unfortunate residents company through out their stay. The staff. The staff, well, I don't think any of them are happy to be there. But they might be this places saving grace. I have had 1 decent experience dealing with them and the rest bad. I have talked to residents and heard good things of the staff, so good to hear that their are people there that want to help these men out. But, if you need to go take a test on the weekend and live in the metro area, you will have to come here and it will not be fast or convenient. The place smells of, urine, sorrow and depression, that is their business so Idk why it would smell of anything else. And if you are thinking of wearing a hat, bandana, listening to music, looking at your phone, working on your laptop or anything constructive while you wait, think again. Those things are not allowed and if you break these commandments, you will be asked to leave and have to drive to Golden or pueblo to take your urine test. So come on in, grab a number leave all your stuff at home and prepare to sit in the world's hottest, smallest waiting room listening to some other law breaker talk outloud to the voices in his head. Don't answer back though or make eye contact, it will not end well. Oh and the water cooler pushes out room temperature questionable water. I believe it is potable but idk, if the thing even works. Oh, too, very important, if you are being dropped off by your girlfriend, mother or sisters, might be a nice idea to have them park at the 711 up the street. Ive seen a few very uncomfortable ladies waiting in the lot and a little cat calling. Aside from all that, enjoy, try not to do whatever it was you did to ever have to return. Have a great day and god speed if this is your destination!

The staff and policies are by far the worst that I have seen in a community corrections. I work in facilities across the state and the majority encourage residents to succeed. ICCS does not. The atmosphere is very negative, not to mention the state of the facility itself. Many of the shower and bathrooms are in disrepair and have been for some time. I wish there was more I could do for the men there.
