Cornerstone is more than a sober living program—it’s a brotherhood. The staff and peers held me accountable while also encouraging me to grow as a man. I learned responsibility, rebuilt relationships, and most importantly, found purpose in my recovery journey. This place truly changed my life.

My experience at Cornerstone was very positive. The environment is safe and supportive, and the focus on 12-step meetings and life skills helped me stay committed to recovery. I only wish there were more recreational activities, but overall, the program gave me a solid foundation to build on.

Cornerstone Recovering Community gave me exactly what I needed—structure, accountability, and brotherhood. The men here support each other through the ups and downs, and the daily routines kept me focused on sobriety. I left feeling stronger, more responsible, and ready to live independently again.

My loved one passed away from an overdose less than a month after leaving this program—just steps away from the facility. It’s devastating to know that people in recovery can still so easily access substances nearby. From what we’ve learned, he didn’t get the help he desperately needed. What hurts even more is how his final moments were handled—with no dignity or compassion. I wish there had been more accountability, more protection, and more care. Our family is left grieving and searching for answers. People battling addiction deserve better support, especially when they’re trying to turn their lives around.

This facility truly gave me a fresh start. From the moment I arrived, they provided essentials like toiletries, food, and support to help me transition back into the community. We were encouraged to find work and build independent lives. While not everyone makes the right choices with their free time, that’s on the individual—not the program. The counselors are always available and genuinely want to help, but they can’t control every decision made by grown adults. For anyone serious about change, this place offers the tools and support to make it happen.
