Second Wind Chemical Dependency Outpatient

The Second Wind is a private psychotherapy practice founded by John Bliss LCSW CASAC and Marcia Poston LCSW CASAC in 1988. The practice began as a clinic providing therapy to people who are struggling with issues that often evidence themselves somatically. John and Marcia wanted to address the competition people faced when trying to grow and live productive and successful lives. Some of the competition is anxiety, depression, and maladaptive ways of dealing with anger and inefficient ways of dealing with stress. They have developed a specialty in addictions, which is often a way people try to cope with life's struggles and challenges. The Second Wind has a treatment track licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
