IMO the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System is horrible. On numerous occasions my wait time to be seen by a physician were well over an hour. The staff gets you checked in so it will look as if they're actually working, but then they close you off in a room only to be forgotten about while they walk around playing grab ass or whatever it is that they do in the hallways. I've been seen at this VA Hospital since March of 2016 and I've yet to have service worth commending.

My husband went into the ER with a ruptured appendix. We were sent to the ICU and then 7th floor (East side) for recovery after his procedure. The nurses staff in ICU and on 7E were absolutely amazing. They were kind, patient and knowledgeable. Justin was our nurse during the day and he had a wonderful personality and such a positive view!! This was some of the best service we have ever had in an emergency situation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your service!

Some of the most professional, kind people you will ever meet. We have had multiple appointments with multiple doctors and could not be more pleased. Forget everything you’ve heard, they are all wonderful!!!

I appreciate the wonderful care given to my brother, Richard Blackwell by staff of the OKC VA Health Systems. Everyone from the Doctors, nurses, and supportive staff are compassionate and go the extra mile to make him comfortable. Thank you!
