After a DUI, I was referred to this program and didn’t know what to expect. But it turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. The group sessions were powerful, and I felt like I wasn’t alone in this fight. They worked with my insurance and helped me set up a sliding fee payment plan. I’ve been sober for eight months now, and I owe it all to this amazing team.

As a young LGBTQ+ adult, I was nervous about entering treatment, but the Mental Health Center of Dane County made me feel completely accepted. The therapists were warm and nonjudgmental, and the outpatient program gave me the flexibility to keep working. They even helped me access services in Spanish for my mom so she could understand the process. I’m finally in a better place.

This center truly saved my life. I was struggling with both depression and opioid addiction, and the integrated care here helped me manage both. The staff was incredibly respectful and knowledgeable. I also appreciated that they offer buprenorphine treatment—it made the withdrawal process so much more manageable. I felt seen, heard, and supported from day one.
