I would give Manchester/Rockville Hospital less than 1 star if I could. I am currently waiting for a (scheduled) CT scan going on 3 hours. No explanation. No communication at all actually. If this was an isolated incident I wouldn’t even be writing this. Things happen. But unfortunately this is not the first or worst experience like this.I went to the Rockville Hospital emergency room last October. I was fairly confident I had a hernia. The doctor in the ER ordered an MRI (which I was later told was completely inappropriate). The doctor told me I had no hernia and it was all in my head. Told me to go home and sleep it off. I went and got a second opinion and found out not only did I have one hernia, I had TWO!I don’t understand how two hospitals owned by the same company can be so incompetent. I have never had any issues at Johnson or St. Francis.I would rather risk traveling for a medical emergency before I ever go back to either facility.

I just got discharged from here a couple days ago and I just want to thank Amanda, Brittany, Bridgette, Diana, Heather, and all the rest of the techs and nurses in the Behavioral Health Unit for trying to help me. Even though it was hard for me to find coping skills they were ALL great and I made new friends that will always be family. I'll say the not so great part about being here is the food I would give the food 3/5 stars because all I ate there was mac n cheese and fruit everyday. But other than that the hospital service was good.
