Haven in Waconia

I went to Haven In Waconia to request a Chemical Dependency Evaluation. My initial concern based on an experience elsewhere was that there would be 'standard' recommendations added to my evaluation. I brought this up with the evaluator and they confirmed that this would happen. If no treatment would be recommended they would still recommend educational classes, this was before I provided any information on my past or chemical use. This leads me to believe the recommendations would not be all specific to my case and they just want more money, this smells like a scam to me. If you are looking for an accurate evaluation and recommendations that are specific to your case I do not recommend going here, don't waste your time and money.

Run for your dear life. Even his probation recommended this place I highly recommend you turn around go back to them and ask for a new one. This is not where you want to go for treatment. The spineless director Tim wouldn’t know an actual treatment counselor if one kicked him in the balls. Fran, the incompetent tool bag that Tim hired, is a completely psycho probably still drinking excuse for a human being. She is erratic and completely abusive.I’m just gonna go straight to the point and tell you they are here for the courts not for you. They also violate privacy like nobody’s business look for them to report things to probation in court without your permission to do so. This is against every ethical policy that they have but bar non-these guys do not follow ethical standards anyways. My spouse was 50 days sober and was kicked out of this group and they violated my privacy by talking about me and the letter to the court as to what I can afford and not.I know treatment facilities usually get one star ratings but let me be clear if I could give it -10 stars I would. Bar none talk your tail between your legs and run like hell do not consider this place unless you want to execute your time because that’s where you’re going to end up anyways. On top of all that they can’t keep people sober if they paid them to be. I saw more people coming in and out of this place relapsing and no matter what their website says they kick more people out that I think showing their program. They probably kick people out that never even came here.I will be posting one new review every week until I feel satisfied for the amount of irrefutable damage they have done to my spouse and my family. I beg you all to seriously seriously consider what you’re doing before you trust these people with your lives. Best of luck to anyone reading this in your recovery .
