It was pretty good for me. I got what I needed out of it. All I did was sleep there. I went to work & meetings. Built up a great support group. I’ve still sober. It has been 34 years now.Mark is correct. There was emergency community meetings in the middle of the night. I’d be sleeping because I had to get up early & go to work. While sleeping get woken up in the early hours if the morning there would be a vote to throw a resident out to the streets. I got along well with the director Scotty. I did think he was playing God a bit. He would talk about how a phone call from him would get a resident put back into prison.I was not that surprised that Scotty was killed by a former resident. Played God one to many times. The way he was killed was like what Mark said, “Gruesome”. He used the power he had over people one too many times.I stayed out of the politics there. Kept myself clean & moved out after a year when I felt strong enough to do my own thing.RIP Scotty!!!

This place was a real nightmare when I was there I saw people kicked out at night for very petty things the place was ran by Scotty Russell who was pressuring clients for bizarre things which involved drugs and sex .One client eventually killed him in a most gruesome manner. I came for help and was worse off when I left .
