This place is a nightmare. It is almost impossible to get signed up with them, because they don't give appointments. You have to show up as a walk-in at 7:30 a.m. and sign in. Then they tell you to come back in 2 hours, and you might get seen (and this only to determine if you qualify for services). If you qualify, then you might get an appointment to come back to do intake....then you might get to wait for an appointment to see a psychiatrist, who will meet with you for five minutes. And this place is for people with no insurance, who are mentally ill. This is the way they treat people who can't always remember to take a shower! Completely inhumane, and useless organization, working only to frustrate, and demoralize the most vulnerable people in the city.

It's impossible to be seen. You need to bring proof of residency, income and id. They open at 730, the phone recording says 830. So it's a hurry up and wait game.
