As someone who is deaf, I’ve had trouble accessing treatment in the past. BARC was the first center I found that offered ASL and hearing-impaired services, and it changed everything for me. I finally felt included and understood. The care I received was outstanding, and I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support.

The staff at BARC was very professional, and I appreciated the confidential environment. My only issue was that I had to wait a bit to get an intake appointment. Once I was in, though, the treatment was excellent. They helped me set real goals and start seeing a future for myself again.

I struggled for years with substance use and anxiety and had almost given up. BARC’s dual diagnosis program was the first time I felt like someone truly saw all of me. Their team helped me manage both issues in a coordinated way, and I’ve never felt more hopeful. The group sessions were especially powerful—hearing others’ stories reminded me I wasn’t alone.

I came to BARC as a Spanish-speaking client and was nervous about finding support that understood me. The fact that they offer Spanish language services made a huge difference. My therapist was patient and truly cared about my progress. The outpatient program allowed me to keep working while staying committed to my recovery. Highly recommend if you’re serious about getting better.
