Acadia Montana

I was skeptical at first but “speaking from someone who was a resident there”, this is the best experience I’ve ever had. They listened to me, made sure I had what I needed, helped me to find myself when I was sure I had lost it helped me work through what I needed to, helped me to get stabilized and most importantly gave me hope. There are endless things but these are just a few. Thank you Acadia Montana 😀

My son was a resident at this facility. He has many behavioral issues that were not addressed. His therapist did not communicate with us well, missed numerous sessions without calling. The therapist reported to us that he was doing well, when in fact we found out he had been in numerous fights with peers and staff. Also he was failing school. I'm not defending our son as he has many problems and chooses to make questionable decisions. Acadia was going to send him home even when he was not stabilized and only gave us 2 days notice, they didn't have a discharge plan in place when in fact we discussed this with his therapist when our son first arrived. We put our foot down and reluctantly they extended his stay. Then they transported our son to another facility without consent or notifying us! The only reason we found out was the other facility called us the next day! Acadia has been a disappointing experience for our family , they have dropped the ball on our son and hope this will not happen to another family. There was no communication between the Doctors, therapists, and our family! In many ways they failed! Seems like they didn't want to deal with our son and looked to pass him on to someone else.
