Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) is an amphetamine primarily used to treat ADHD in children, as well as narcolepsy. Like all amphetamines, Dexidrine is a CNS Stimulant (“Upper”) classified by its ability to increase neurotransmitter activity in the brain, particularly increasing alertness and attention span.
