Mescaline is a hallucinogenic chemical most commonly known for giving the cactus plant Peyote its hallucinogenic properties. It is taken by chewing a dried amount of the above-ground part of a Peyote plant or by soaking the same part of the plant and drinking the liquid in which it was soaked. Like all hallucinogens, Mescaline alters ones perceptions of reality, time and sensory functions. Visit the Mescaline Page for more information.
