The Foundry Ministries

The Foundry Ministries is a haven where the addict, ex-inmate and destitute experience the love of Christ, find freedom and discover purpose. What happens in a foundry distinctly describes what God does here in the lives of men, women and families battling a complex variety of challenges including substance abuse, legal offenses, poverty, spiritual brokenness and more. By Christ’s example we welcome them with understanding and unconditional love. Then through the process of melting, cleansing and molding—through our programs of Rescue, addiction Recovery, prison Re-Entry —their lives are reshaped by the hands of God. Real freedom from drugs, alcohol and other life-dominating issues can only be achieved through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Foundry Ministries addiction recovery program is a haven where the addict experiences the love of Christ, finds freedom and discovers purpose. Many of those who turn to The Foundry have spent years—even decades—practicing their destructive habits and it’s unrealistic to think they can overcome them in a short period of time. That’s why we offer a 12-month recovery program—for addicts from throughout Alabama and across the country—that focuses on their specific and individual needs and defines success by their personal progress.
