I was nervous about entering rehab, especially as a single mom. But Stepping Stones welcomed me with open arms. They helped me work through my alcoholism and underlying anxiety, and provided resources that supported my parenting journey as well. The mental health care was outstanding, and the staff genuinely cared about my success. I appreciated that they worked with my financial situation and made sure I got the help I needed. I still attend outpatient sessions, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

As a veteran dealing with PTSD, alcoholism, and depression, I never thought I'd find a place that understood all those layers. Stepping Stones offered integrated care that addressed my trauma, mental health, and substance use. They treated me with dignity, created a plan that included individual counseling and group support, and guided me through detox safely. I now attend NA meetings regularly and continue working with a therapist. If you’re struggling with multiple issues, this place knows how to help.

My son was struggling with heroin addiction and had been in and out of hospitals and detox centers. When he came to Stepping Stones, we finally saw real change. The staff was incredibly supportive—not only to him but to us as a family. We joined family education groups and learned how to support his recovery while setting boundaries. Today he’s sober, working, and rebuilding his life. This program goes beyond just addiction treatment—it’s about healing the whole person and their loved ones.

What makes Stepping Stones special is the level of care and compassion from the staff. I’ve been through other rehabs, but none addressed both my drug addiction and mental health issues like this place did. I went through detox, stayed in residential treatment, and continued outpatient care after. They also offered sessions for my family, which helped mend some of the relationships I had damaged. It wasn’t easy, but they gave me the tools to fight for my recovery. I’m grateful every day I made that call.

Stepping Stones quite literally saved my life. I came in hopeless, struggling with alcohol addiction and severe anxiety. From day one, the staff treated me like a human being—not just a patient. The counselors helped me uncover the root of my addiction, and the mental health team worked with me on managing my depression. The program is holistic and personalized, and I was encouraged to attend outside recovery groups like AA. I’m now 9 months sober and feel like I’ve truly stepped into a new chapter of life.

terrible place! I don’t suggest treatment to anyone here! Staff is terrible. Most barely have any clean time or relapse, other patients still use esp in the recovery home. This place is a JOKE

Horrible place. No structure. Favoritism. And the employees love to talk to others behind your back. Basically a flop house

Tonight was family night . I have a lot of respect for the counselors( Gabby,Tammy and Tom ...I can't forget the two interns - freaking awesome!!! I'm horrible with names especially the Hispanic one( johanna?!....that's wrong) ...I'm so sorry . U guys are great!!!! Thank you for giving us a night to share with family w/ food, fun, great speakers and gifts .I brought my 14 mo child. Everyone had patience, understanding , and general human kindness . Every rehab has its downfalls. I can attest to that . But I have seen and heard some amazing stories ( that I'm not even sure if the employees heard) point is , people who save others lives should be honered. Military is . Right? Dealing w/ drug addicts prolly harder.....to say the least, u guys are awesome. Thank u

DAY 1 after discharge from Stepping Stones was heart breaking because theres a ton of staff there that care about their Clients. The rooms were extremely clean and everything I learned helped me a great deal. I left that place equipped with a lot of information to help me battle addiction in every way possible. The staff at Stepping Stones also have a understanding of what addicts go through because they once lived that life before but made a choice to change their life and give back to us and im seriously grateful because i needed to hear everything they said even when i couldn't take it emotionally. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET HELP FOR WHAT EVER YOUR GOING THROUGH IM A LIVING WITNESS!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS AT STEPPING STONES!!! CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a wonderful place that has helped me numerous times. They understand, they give many many smoke breaks lol, they work your primary care physician, psychiatrist, pain specialist if necessary as well as dentists oral surgeons etc. If they had six stars I would give them six! I've been to many many different rehabs, detoxes, extended stay programs, and this is by far the best one I've ever been to. Give them a try if you're apprehensive about the whole rehab thing and I guarantee that you will not be let down!

Absolutely rediculous. After 3 days I see my counselor for the second time to find out my mother is in the hospital. I'm given an ultimatum for staying in treatment after missing a group. When the director insinuated I missed "many" I denied such allegations. While "favorites" do basically as they please, others are given no leeway. I obviously fell in the latter category. If you have no money and no where else to go, give it a try. Even then, most of you will be sorry.

When I first got to Stepping Stones I was broken, ashamed of being an addict, and didn't understand how this place could possibly help someone like me who had attempted treatment several times before but never was successful. Boy was I wrong! Stepping Stones changed me from the inside out. Since I was a kid I had been a hopeless, suicidal, drug addict and for the first time in YEARS I wake up in the morning not wanting to die and actually grateful to be alive and excited to start my day..and on top of it I'm sober!! It might not be the boujiest place, but it's full of staff who really do care about you and will go above and beyond to see you succeed. Most of them are in recovery themselves or have been affected by addiction in one way or another so not only are they educated on the disease, but they're full of wisdom from real life experience as well. If you need a way out and you're looking for that light at the end of the tunnel, Stepping Stones is the place to go!

Favoritism at its best!!! Head lady at MEC is a joke! Has no idea how to treat people especially with addictions! Clean house literally too!! Raw sewage smell is all day. Start at the top and cut the head off the snake. IRT is very good and well recommended but after that upstairs MEC and WEC is a free for all circus that sets you up to fail!! Horrible

I just left this facility and it was amazing! I learned soooooo much! Lots of groups and staff that truly truly cares. Outside volunteer speakers come @ least 4 times a week. Off campus AA, HA meetings are also available to those who have been there for over a week. I got to the root cause of my addiction and realized that the problems go deeper than the addiction so worked diligently on my primary issue to keep me from wanting to use. We could order pizza onSaturday's. We took walks around the neighborhood when it was nice out. I will strongly recommend this place to everybody! I'm looking forward to starting my life!

This was my first experience of rehab and I didn't take it serious but if I did I know stepping stones and there amazing staff would've kept me sober ! They made sure too keep you in check and it was nice not the best food or best looking place but truly the staff had a heart of gold I was really struggling at that time and I thank these people for putting up with me forever will recommend this place! Pizza on the weekend was cool and the movies for recovery we watched were very informative and really good they also would let us walk around the building and actually take are time and enjoy outside the meetings and people that would come in for meetings were really good ! THANKS STAFF !!!!!

Don't come here and think this facility will help you with aiding in your mental health. For 2 weeks I had to stop a medication because they told me I didn't have a prescription. It turned out I did have a prescription they just overlooked it. I've been asking to see the doctor here for a month now so I can continue taking this Vivitrol injection to aid in taking care of the cravings for alcohol to no avail. I was told the Dr comes in once a week for 2 hours and only sees 3-4 residents. Residents that have come here after me have seen the Dr but not me. They were right on top of telling me my rent is doubled after I started working but when it comes to my mental health, it seems they could care less.
