I’ll never forget the day I walked into src, I was barefoot, bleeding, filthy, homeless and most of all addicted. I remember how happy I was to be able to take a shower for the first time in about six days. Anyways by the grace of god I managed to make the decision to “live” and do to the staff and the intense medical treatment i received I’ve been clean for 2 years 6 months I’m now a manager at a convenience store. I own my own car and have my own apartment. Something I never could do before. I owe it all to the staff src!! This program isn’t like others they take a clinical approach to addiction you usually only find in rich rehabs most drugs addict can’t afford. it’s the best rehab program I’d ever done and it’s the only one that worked for me., 20 years of IV heroin addiction is what qualifies me to make this assessment of their ability to help people with a disease of the addiction. Get you butt in there if you want real help!

I see all these 5 star reviews so it kind of makes me think that bad ones get deleted. I really hope mine doesn't because people need to know. The ONLY reason I am giving this place a 2 star review is because, no doubt, the staff is excellent. They are genuinely kind and caring. However, they are understaffed. They are always so busy it takes a while for them to tend to your needs. They have absolutely no capability to deal with someone who has mental health issues. ALL they do is hand out meds you came in with. I was under the impression that I would receive care for my addiction along with my mental health. I was there for detox BUT during my detox I became extremely depressed and severely agitated. I contemplated self harm for the first time in a really long time. People are very fragile when going into detox. They need support from the people that love them. I was lied to and told that I would be able to see my support person on Wed. ( I came in on Monday) At the very last minute I was told that people on detox weren't allowed to see anyone. This program works for some people but it certainly was NOT for me.

This is were the beginning of my new way of life started in Sept of 2008
