We went to this hospital because my husband was in so much pain with a pounding headache and neck pain and fever. I even told them... i think he may have meningitis. They did NOTHING! They didn't run one test! They took his vitals and then had a doctor come in to say "welp, i think u just have something viral" ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I took him today to Cedar Park Regional because he was worse and could barely walk and throwing up everywhere. After they did their job he tested positive for bacterial meningitis! WHAT KIND OF HOSPITAL ARE YALL?! Apparently the kind that doesn't give a crap about their patients!

I was just admitted there for 3 days for some major side effects from a surgery done by the VA. Upon arrival at the ER I waited for maybe 10 minutes. They got me back and ran trays do to pain in my lower back and side of my ribs. Upon finding and abnormality they proceeded with a CT scan only to find out that I had a massive amount of blood clots in both my lungs and some Necrotic tissue in my lower left lung. The staff was extremely nice and on top of things and made sure I was taken care of and needed for nothing.

My mom most recently got her eyes worked on with Dr. Marten Ellis. No other hospital has treated us more like a family than the staff at the Metroplex Hospital. Its such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone says hello and good morning when you pass by them in the hallway. And as a patient, you can't get more friendliness than from the people that are working with you. They even have a volunteer who walks through the lobby on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays who offers complimentary coffee, tea, or water. She'll converse with you if you open up to her as well. What a friendly woman. The nurses encompass every kind, loving, and compassionate characteristic that you could hope from one. They always treat my mother like she matters and is very important to them. On top of that, they look after my comfort as well.Everyone from the cafeteria staff to the registration staff to the doctors are amazing. I would trust them with any family member of mine any day of the year!
