The Friendship House is a halfway house for adult males recovering from substance dependence  Founded in 1968, we are a non-profit organization with a capacity of 20 beds.  The Friendship House is licensed as a Substance Abuse Treatment Provider by the State of Nebraska, Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health.  It is primarily funded by Region 3 Behavioral Health funds and through client fees.The Friendship House program provides care and support for the recovering alcoholic and drug addict by easing the transition between residential substance abuse treatment and re-entry into society.  This setting provides a continuum of care on an individual basis in a group setting during a six to twelve month period of time.
