Cooper Health System saved my life and my baby’s. I was pregnant and using, and I thought I had no options. Their perinatal recovery program gave me safe, respectful care without shame. The doctors, counselors, and support staff helped me detox safely, and now I’m raising a healthy child and staying sober. They didn’t just treat me—they lifted me up.

As someone living with both anxiety and substance use issues, I’ve struggled to find treatment that truly addressed both. Cooper’s Center for Healing got it right. They treated my mental health and addiction at the same time, and I never felt judged. The MAT program helped me stay stable, and the counseling gave me the tools to manage everyday life. I’m finally on a path that feels sustainable.

My daughter received care through the adolescent substance use program, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and focused on building her confidence and helping our family heal together. The only challenge was scheduling during school hours, but the quality of care made it worth every effort. Cooper treated us like family, not just a case number.

Cooper’s Recovery Village in Cherry Hill gave me a real chance at getting clean and staying clean. I went through inpatient treatment and then continued care through their outpatient program. Everyone—from the doctors to the behavioral health staff—was supportive and professional. I especially appreciated how they made services accessible to people like me without insurance. Cooper gave me hope when I thought I was out of options.

I came to Cooper Health System’s Center for Healing after years of struggling with addiction and depression. The team didn’t just treat my symptoms—they treated me like a person with a future. The care was thorough, compassionate, and consistent. The walk-in access made it easy to get help when I was finally ready. I’m now in long-term recovery and forever grateful for the staff who believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself.

My husband was taken to this hospital when he had an accident a few months ago, The communication was really bad from the beginning. The first day they put us in a room for about six hours without giving us any information about my husband's condition. Once he was transfered to the 8th floor, every nurse would say that they will let us know about every doctor's visit. Never, not once they called us, when I called, they didn't know much. Rooms were dirty, they put towels and medical supplies anywhere. They didn't care if my husband was in pain, he had a schedule for his medication but they kept changing it because they were always late. Maybe just one or two nurses cared and were nice. We had a bad experience with a nurse who had a bad attituted being very rude when my husband was in pain after going through several surgeries. The patient next to my husband had to wait for hours to be cleaned and I had to call the nurses two or three times since it was impossible to spend time with my husband in that enviroment. Staff was busy using their phones and having fun. If you have the option to take your love one somewhere else, please do. Doctors and surgeons did a good job. No complains there. It was the care on the floor and the communication that is bad.

Absolutely horrible. Had a spinal fusion and instead of putting me on the neurosurgery floor they put me on the wrong floor and it was a complete nightmare. Everyone that came in the room didn’t know I had A spinal fusion. Then had problems with a nurse that didn’t do her job and had to be removed has my nurse. Husband had to get a patient Advocate and demand for someone to help me. For 10 days not one person cleaned my room and my bed was only changed once. I wouldn’t send a dog to this hospital.
