When i went to take my son vera I was very nervous and was hoping that someone be there to welcome us, and no one was there when we walked in to the admitting office the lady Caucasian lady was very very rude. She acted as if we interrupted her and just answered minimal questions, I was so so disappointing then was told that I couldn’t get in touch with my son and nothing so I was very frustrated I fight for my son because he’s suffering from mental illness and that like everywhere we turn we don’t get any help. I’m just so frustrated.

I see these reviews all I see is folks complaining about being there. I went to Christian farms in 1992 probably the best thing to happen to me. Stop fighting being there there. Grow up. You food shelter and folks that care. You're the ones that care. We hade 6 month program when I went. It's not about get sober, it's about you getting over your excuses in life. Trust me I cried the day I left . I was scared to death. I made it. My name is Lloyd Smith. Not ashamed to say it!

Ok ok... so its not the Ritz. But if you want to get sober u will. Techs are as good to u as u are to them. I only had 1 that we bumped heads. Class well, they are working on some new things that may be better in future. Food is great! Chelsea and Lisa were very nice to deal with down to earth. I was not court ordered went on own even after reading reviews. I understand typically people who write terrible things about a place often has something to do with there own actions. And I believe this to be true of this place. 9f u break little rules and get mad you're an idiot. And if u can't follow simple rules you're not ready for sobriety. So, go there, follow rules and stay sober..... cause that's what its ultimately about right??? 😎

WORST PLACE EVER!! This place was absolutely terrible. The staff was SUPER disrespectful along with roommates that were given a "second chance" coming straight out of prison. Had no idea what I was in for when I checked myself in. Although it was probably better than being in prison it was very similar to. Very minimal Bible studies upon arriving to what I thought was a "christian-based" treatment facility. I however did not have a great experience with them and had very few if any Bible studies. All of the classes were led by our own group of girls in the dorm with no staff and no outside visitors. There was not even coffee provided in the mornings only water. I'm not sure about you but I know coming straight out of detox coffee and cigarettes or at the very least thing that I have to make it through the day. Upon arriving they took my cigarettes from me as well as my candy which anyone knows that coming out of detox sugar is a definite help with all of the stuff that comes with detox. There was no formal intake of any kind of what I would call a treatment plan until I asked for one. This place is terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. I made several complaints with the staff while I was there to voice my concerns and nothing changed after 2 weeks of being there I ended up checking myself out with seeing little to no progress. I was told that I would be able to get my medication as well when I arrived there they took all of my medicine and refused to give it to me the entire time I was there huge huge issue. When I asked why I couldn't have my medicine they told me they had to have a doctor's approval. Very strange seeing how they were prescribed medications for me and my treatment plan. This did not in all in any way help me with my addiction as we all know that the maintenance plan is what helps keep you on track and taking that away from someone in the middle of their treatment is the worst thing you could do.i ended up in hospital due to my abrupt stopping of my medications from them. In addition to my arrival they also told me that I would have to get a vaccination. I refuse the vaccination which I guess not many girls do if any at all and they questioned me about it and told me that it was "people like me" that were the reason people were getting sick. People like me? Wow! unbelievable!. I was then told that I could not go anywhere on the premises without a mask. Not even to have a simple conversation I would have to have my mask on at all times if I stepped out of bedroom. I was thrown a handbook and was told to read over it. Shocking it says after 6 days of being at their facility that you would no longer be required to wear a mask. I guess they don't read their own handbook or make up the rules as they go. I was told over and over again that I would need to wear mask t or I would be asked to leave. Super unprofessional and borderline illegal if you ask me. Wouldn't be surprised if this place has a huge lawsuit coming if you don't sign all your rights away before you check yourself in. Refusing medication to a patient along with telling them they have to be vaccinated just a few of the lovely experiences upon arriving. Again I would not recommend this place do your research before you check in or consider this place

Most likely you are court ordered to go. This will be the reason you get treated poorly for a number of reasons. They really don’t care about you, or your actual progress. They get paid and the state sends more people in regardless of what happens to you they get their ends. Mrs. Chelsea my counselor did not see me but once while I was there, and would address issues to me in front of all her other clients rather than one on one. Very condescending and never made effort to try to help us understand or understand us. Ms. Lisa the other counselor was awesome and was very helpful to her clients. Ms. Rae the director was very rude, and basically told me my perspective or “side” of issues between myself and other clients didn’t matter because I was a supposed “bully”. In my 4th week there they had found cigarette butts outside my window and blamed me for it and I got discharged for something I didn’t do. They even went as far as to say there was fresh ashes on the window seal and everything. Which is not the truth at all, the dorm technicians knew my roommate was unscrewing the lights out back. They couldn’t put 2 and 2 together though and figure out he was doing it to hang out the window and smoke. But he was moved out of the dorm 2 days before they found the cigarette butts I told them the truth and they just couldn’t believe it due to the condescending nature of the director and my counselor both. I went to rehab as a court order but I went with the intentions of bettering myself and changing my life. Now I get yet another set back and a visit to a ISF program which is not going to be by any means helpful. Thank you Christian Farms!:) The honesty open mindedness and willingness is scarce amongst the staff. Good luck to those who are actually trying to better yourselfs, just lay low and get better, you got this.

I had a wonderful experience sully my counselor was awesome and my copsd counselor ms Tami was amazing this place is a God send all the 1 star reviews are garbage and written by people who weren't and aren't ready for a life change and confuse they're battle as other people's issue when in reality they just want to blame anyone but themselves for they're own problems and have zero accountability, probably court ordered to be there and mad they can't use anymore..... grow up mouth breathers and learn to spell!!!!! Thank you Christian farms yall rock!!! Almost 5 years sober thanks to God you guys and self driven motives!!!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE YOU READ ABOUT THE STAFF IS TRUE. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Ms Rae is the program director and is very disrespectful. As well as the head Tech director. Ms Tracy. I was given nothing but a hard time throughout my whole duration of stay, I was constantly belittled and treated poorly. Not to the say the program is bad. It's just the staff and not just a couple people. I wish I could say maybe something was wrong with me but that's why I came for help which I rarely ever seen. when everyone agreed something needed to be said and brought up to the staff. At our next process meeting, everyone tried to speak our piece, to which we were threatened with unsuccessful discharge and lectured and belittled yet again, even though we are supposed to vent and share at process meetings. Unfortunately, me being one of the ones that voiced some examples and sharing my piece was discharged. Except they waited to do so 3 days before my discharged, when 2 days prior I was told how great of a job I was doing and how I had successfully gotten my certificate.

I was a client back in 2015 at Christian Farms. My experience there was life changing and life transforming. I've used methaphine hardcore for 18 years. I've found the staff to be friendly but firm. The consular I had the feeling that they geniually cared, and it was more then just a job to them they really wanted to help. The environment there was clean, friendly, firm, not strict, & extremely fair. I found Christian farms to be so pleasent and informative to me that I requested to stay an additional 30 days from my original release date. If you really want help & are serious about getting help with your addiction I highly recommend Christian Farms. Today I can say I've been clean for over a year & a half due to largely impart of Christian Farms.

Christian Farms Treehouse helped save my life. I went from being homeless on the streets of Austin to their program to help in aid in my recovery from addiction. Everyone there is so helpful and attentive. If you're struggling with addiction, please don't be afraid anymore and contact CFTH today, it will change your life! I now have my own car, my own place, a decent paying 9-5 job, my whole life has changed for the better and I'm more than happy to say CFTH played a large part in my recovery today...I am 9 months sober, this place is a godsend! Thank you CFTH for helping me get my life back on track!!

They are not good institution they don't have the capability to help everyone they have a counselor not enough , they send people home without medication that is needed daily, than they send it thru mail and it takes more than 2 weeks and still have not received meds "they dont care"they are not responsible enough to care or help someone it takes more than a "counselor" some people need more help than others, they don't do evaluation than they send them home saying they are not capacitated to treat with certain people after being admitted instead of doing an evaluation before admiting. Definitely do not recomend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Christian farms. I was there for 35 days. I’m now almost 5 months sober and counting. They are a little strict but I do see why. Their policies are in place for a reason and it worked! Very grateful. I do think the clients should be able to sit in the sun. It releases endorphins naturally and was a form of mediation for me and they took that from us. The dcs are great. And Ms. Linda… thank you for helping me get in there. Highly recommend.
