I honestly believe that addiction is a symptom of an underlying condition which is usually a childhood trauma. I found that AA by itself was not enough. Big Sky Recovery empowers people to discover why they are the way they are and they give people the chance to be free of the bondage of addiction by processing their trauma. The education of addiction you will receive at Big Sky is unmatched by any other rehab. Big Sky is by far the best recovery center I've ever been a part of.

While I cannot speak to Big Sky Recovery's treatment program, I would like to take a second and say I am a seasoned veteran of the treatment experience..... by that I mean I have been to inpatient treatment over twenty times... I only mention that to illustrate that I am not green to the experience. I have many different experiences to compare each other with. I will say that I know that Mike Edwards has his hand in the design of this program... and couldn't say enough nice things about him... he has a unique passion for the work of helping others, he has a calm inviting demeanor that appeals to a large swath of different types of people. When I arrived at the treatment center where he previously worked and where I met him, I was on the fence about staying, pretty much on the fence about everything, I can honestly say that I stuck around primarily because of my desire to be in his groups, and in his presence.... if anyone has any questions they can feel free to.message me, but I can tell you if you or your loved one needs help, they would be in good hands here...
