G Great Falls is located in Cascade County and is the third largest city in Montana, with 59,351 residents. Great Falls was named from the five waterfalls along the upper Missouri River basin. Today, all of the waterfalls have a hydroelectric dam, giving Great Falls its nickname “The Electric City.”
