LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) is a synthetically-made hallucinogenic deriving from a fungus called Ergot. Like all hallucinogens, LSD alters ones perceptions of reality, time and sensory functions. LSD can be ingested orally via paper or sugar cube (the liquid form of the drug is placed on to the materials and absorbed by them), as well as through a capsule or tablet.
