I never realized how hopeless I really was because hopeless had been my normal for such an incredibly long time. What awaited me through those doors on whipple street was a group of women who could effectively communicate with my crazy and see the real me that I was positive and I had lost. I came in with no self worth, no hope, no dreams and an emptiness so deep within myself it hurt to breathe. Footprints and the women involved with footprints held a light through my life and walked with me through my darkest moments until I could find my way. No words can actually express my gratitude for this program. I never thought that it was possible to go from a shell of a person to a woman of integrity. Footprints and the women involved with Footprints taught me how to become the woman I am today and today I love myself.

Couldn't have better things to say about my experience at this place. Great-full that I got the opportunity to go through when I did. It was tough and sometimes uncomfortable but I'm still on the same path 3 years later. I owe these guys for helping me build a solid foundation in my recovery.
