Eagleville Hospital was exactly what I needed. I had a serious relapse and needed a place that offered more than just detox. The hospital-level services were top-notch, and I appreciated the focus on treating the whole person. The staff went above and beyond, and I felt supported every step of the way. I’m now in outpatient care and still use the tools they gave me.

The treatment was effective and I learned a lot during my stay, but I wish the intake process had been smoother. It took a while to get admitted, and I was in crisis when I arrived. That said, once I was in the program, the medical and counseling staff were excellent. They really helped me stabilize and encouraged me to transition into long-term care, which I’m grateful for.

As a mother and someone who has battled both addiction and depression, I can't recommend Eagleville Hospital enough. The dual diagnosis care was incredible. For the first time, I didn’t feel like I had to choose between treating my mental health or my addiction—they helped me do both. They even had support for women with trauma backgrounds, which helped me process some deep wounds. I left with a new perspective and real hope.

I was referred to Eagleville through the court system, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. But I was wrong. The staff treated me like a human being, not a case number. I appreciated the structure, especially the group therapy and creative activities—they helped me open up. The hospital setup made me feel safe, and I’m still attending follow-up counseling now that I’m home.

Eagleville Hospital gave me the chance to start over. I came in for detox and stayed through residential treatment, and the care I received was outstanding. The staff genuinely listened to me and created a treatment plan that fit my needs. I had both substance use and anxiety issues, and they addressed everything with compassion and professionalism. I'm now 10 months sober and feel more stable than I have in years.

If I could rate this facility with negative stars, I would. This is not the first detox I've been to, so to see the severe lack of professionalism and compassion was extremely disheartening. By the third day I had already resorted to keeping track of my own medication times because none of the staff was ever on the same page and they were constantly passing down responsibilities/duties to someone else. It felt like no staff members wanted to be there let alone do anything remotely physical. I would never refer anyone I care about to Eagleville. I appreciate the fact that there are places like Eagleville, but as far as the actual medical aspect and the duties expected of Nurses and counselors, it was a sad joke.

Not a hospital and they blatantly lost patient’s bag. It’s sad to see how awful this country’s system is for people who genuinely need help. Shame on program managers and directors who do nothing to help. Here’s a brilliant idea: setup an actual phone line with a human on the other end. It’s disgusting how you can never get an employee or someone to answer the phone for extremely sensitive and personal matters. Shame shame shame.

I was a patient here at Eagleville May 19, 2021 - July 8, 2021 my counselor was short blonde hair Jess she was absolutely wonderful and always very cheerful some days to much for me but we all can't be happy all of the time. Eagleville really helped me out and as of today I am 1yr 7mos clean and sober. All the classes and activities they offer are great and time consuming and make your days go by quickly. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and food for a hospital setting you couldn't ask for better food. I would definitely recommend this facility

Detox center seems to be on the ball. Can't say the same about the rehab center after detox. rehab center is a mess. fights, thefts, bullying, no oversight. still playing the covid game. no visits permitted due to "covid". Really, in July 2024. Just an excuse to cut services and staff in my opinion.

At one time Eagleville was a very good rehab. Wow have things changed! I called there 7 times and left my name and contact information to help someone. Nobody ever responded to any of my calls even though I left all of my contact information. They have an answering service because no employees ever answer the phone. How does a place that calls themselves a hospital not return an urgent call seven times. This shows me lack of concern. The opposite behavior of what a treatment center should have!

I literately just left this place today. I have so much to share. First let me say ANY facility is better than what you are doing out there. Even this complete mess of one. That being said please please look into going somewhere else. The medication system is a joke. I waited on average 5 hours a day for meds. Detox meds and also my regular meds. They do have a few very very good staff members whose hands are tied. I hope and pray they see their worth and get out of there!! I witnessed so many fights… like drop down bad fights along with at least 10 couples… yes couples…rehab romances all in bloom. Kissing, laying on each other etc and YES staff walks right by. They had some people so overmedicated they are literally falling over. Nobody needs 300 mg of methadone. I was detoxing while I was watching people nod out. They had no different of a look on their face than when they are doing dope. So they definitely keep some people high… sorry not sorry. Forget getting your items that loved ones have dropped off. This place literally does not care. My roommate had one pair of underwear and was begging staff to please grab the stuff that was dropped off. She waited 5 days!! .I’m writing this while waiting on transfer to another facility. Because recovery is key. That being said… any place is better than where your addiction has you right now but for the greatest chance and real recovery please consider somewhere else. If you are reading this and suffering please know that you can do this. No one is ever too far gone!! One beautiful day at a time❤️ God Bless

The one night I stayed it was horrifying. I left the next morning and going to a better facility. The only positive was Brandon the security guard who went to find my lost back pack with valuables in it. He was the nicest employee I've met while I was there. Please give him a raise! Soo much negativity there but he was a ray of sunshine. Thank you Security guard Brandon!

As a professional in the D&A field, this is the WORST place I have ever experienced. I recently tried to admit a client, faxed over his paperwork at 9am and have called for an update every hour since. You can only talk to an answering service and leave messages for someone to call you back and that NEVER happens. 8 hours later and I still don’t know if they even have an available bed. I will avoid sending clients here at any cost. As a result, my client is now sleeping on the street in the cold tonight. Disgusted.

This is one the worst treatment facilities I have ever come across and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I recently had a loved one come here and not only was she discharged without her medications, but I delivered a package to her that didn't get delivered until after she left. I've called 6 times over the past 2 weeks and have left 5 messages to try and come retrieve the package with no response. The best thing she could compare it to was a trap house because there were patients selling drugs, using drugs, trading s*x for cigarettes, and patients being overly affectionate everywhere with no consequences.

I was here from August to the end of September. You can get recovery anywhere but please for the love of God, not here. This place is the best worse rehab ever, I say that because it made me never want to end up in a place like that ever again. It's like the inmates run the asylum. The good staff who care are fired. The others are either so ignorant and lazy or are so overwhelmed from being shortstaffed, they can barely help. The admissions never answer the phone and when they do, they just take a note and never call you back. They also lose the belongings you bring or the stuff your family mails in. The med line is outrageous, all units, even detox, have to go to one room, all at once for meds and it takes 2 to 3, even 5 hours sometimes to get your meds while patients miss the morning groups. This is also the first rehab I've ever been to that does NOT have a nurse on staff 24-7 on the DETOX unit. It's so dangerous, that while I was there, someone DIED from a seizure because no staff was checking on them. They also put very physically and mentally disable people with everyone in same units, even when it's obvious they need a higher level of care and expect other patients to help them. They barely have people to clean the rooms so our bathrooms get nasty very quickly. And some of the techs simply don't care about anyone. Don't get me wrong, there are some staff who are generally good, compassionate people, and want to help. I feel sorry for them and would tell them to find a better facility to work cause they deserve better. This place shouldn't have spent the money on those new fancy buildings and shouldve used it to pay for more techs and nurses. Sometimes it's impossible to find staff and it's dangerous, complete anarchy and not only have I witnessed people having sex and getting into fights DAILY, there was also alot of DRUGS from outside being brought in and sold easily there. So please, you can get recovery anywhere if you really want it, but I'd suggest going anywhere else, and I've been to 10 different facilities. However, if you just want 3 hots and a cot, and just bullsh!t around all day, its better than being out on the streets,so you can just waste time at spread eagleville, the best worse rehab ever.

I was treated very respectfully, staff were Patient and Polite. I can say that they helped me every time with soap and toothpaste sheets, towel they were really honest, stand up professionals and authentic. Lyla, Cornell, Erica and Lindsey, I respect and have appreciation for you all who worked on Birch during my stay. Even the kitchen nutritionist left a positive impact and helped me gain weight. I had Good vibes in the gymnasium Amazing job. Respect. Thank you for helping me get myself together by giving me knowledge I needed.I’m doing well and I’m grateful for Eagleville.

I had the best experience at Eagleville in regards to the therapist, Miss Bonnie & Miss Elonda. Miss Bonnie was my therapist and she truly goes above & beyond not only for her clients but for any client that needs an ear to listen or advice on a situation. Her door was always open and still is even though I am no longer there. I just celebrated a year clean and Miss Bonnie plays a huge part in that. She helped me to grow in ways I never thought I could but because of how genuine she is I felt comfortable to open up and I respect her in so many ways and because of that I was able to open up and deal with things I didn't think I could. I had to end a really toxic relationship and Miss Bonnie sat with me just because she knew I needed the support. She will always hold a special place in my heart. On another note..... our case manager on the woman's side, Lordess unfortunately did not contribute these same caring characteristics. On many occasions Miss Bonnie would assist with situations that were for Lordess but we went to Miss Bonnie because we knew she would get it done because she cares about the well being of her clients. If I wouldn't have taken the initiative to find a recovery house I would've been discharged to the street. Also I filled out 2 applications. 1 for my social security card and 1 for my Birth Certificate and 3 months later I still do not have them. I believe that Eagleville, Cedar building needs a case manager that is going to care and participate in the clients well being as much as Miss Bonnie and Miss Elonda.

My fiance was in there for 6 days for drug & alcohol detox/rehab before they arbitrarily discharged her. When she got there her bathroom was filthy. The shower was dirty. There were old & empty body wash bottles that were never refilled or replaced. Worse, there were "Dunkin Donut" style napkins around the toilet that were soaked with urine. These were never picked up nor was the bathroom cleaned for the whole 6 days. The room smelled like a urinal for the whole 6 days. They fed her only cold & starchy foods which caused her to be VERY CONSTIPATED. When they discharged her they "couldn't find" the mental health meds she went in with. She never got them back and is now forced to fight with her health insurance for an exception/override to get replacement meds out of schedule while she is battling withdrawal symptoms from not having her meds for more than a week now. They didn't get her off the street drugs but did get her off alcohol.

In August 2024 during my non-hospital stay at Eagleville hospital. I was physically/sexually assaulted by an older man resident and nothing was done about it. I was told simply to not go near him and he was told not to go near me. Nothing was done about this man who grabbed my throat. Just watch your back when you’re in there there’s not a lot of security.

I always got a lot out of my stays at Eagleville but this last time left me disappointed and feeling cheated. Where do I begin? The two hour line EVERY TIME it’s medication. Or, the fact that I felt slighted because many of the groups on Cedar 1B are “check in” or stupid games non related to recovery because putting effort and planning aren’t a thing. Ashley, Cosmi and Victor did the damn thing. And the lady with the “D” name on 1A They brought their A game with informative groups. Thank you! Idk how many times I complained about housekeeping. Never toilet paper, never paper towels or soap filled. Shower cleaned hahaha. Bathroom floor mopped like I begged. Why bother having grievances? Instead the head of housekeeping had the nerve to tell me I was making up my version of clean vs what we got. Once I heard a guy ask the housekeeper 3 times to return and do a better job. He would put a wet floor sign by my room to fake me out. No knowing I had a way of checking if the floor was swept or mopped. Maybe my boldness, honesty, bluntness caused them to want me gone. Lordes lied to me repeatedly about what she was doing for my aftercare. I am currently in a program she told me I wasn’t eligible for. She forgot to put an application at one place. I begged for a halfway house since day 1 she scheduled a recovery house interview. I got a 14 day extension they wouldn’t let me use. I was forced to sign paperwork for my insurance company. Because of the rush for my exit they did nothing and I returned home. They knew that was a trigger and I would probably use, which I did. They told me I was doing too well and they did all they could for me. I never broke one rule and didn’t deserve the lack of effort. Cedar 2B is another world. No complaints! Organized staff, great informative groups. Effort on staffs part. My therapist didn’t know what DBT was. She was nice but recovery stuff wasn’t her fortay. I felt so bad because I knew she couldn’t help me. Shes brilliant with learning disabled or autistic but her knowledge of recovery lacks greatly and I felt sorry for her. The other therapist Bonnie seemed to go hard for her people. I wasn’t hers and she made me feel special. She is special. Strong, individual, creative, intelligent, motivated…wanting to make it better for those women because of her heart. I felt ignored there but she saw me. Victor saw me. I am doing really really well. Imagine where I would be if Lordes hadn’t told me I wasn’t a candidate for the program I’m in. I would have more clean time. Thank God I cared enough about myself two not give up on me even tho they did
