About this Facility
Aspell Recovery Center has been serving West Tennessee since 1979, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals facing alcoholism, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. Licensed by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Aspell offers a full continuum of care that guides clients from their first steps in recovery through to long-term independent living. Many staff members are in recovery themselves, bringing empathy and understanding to the process, alongside licensed and master-level counselors dedicated to supporting lasting change. Our programs begin with a 30-day Residential Program for adults 18 and older, offering a structured, 24/7 environment focused on individualized treatment plans. Clients then transition into Intensive Outpatient Care, which combines structured therapy, 12-Step participation, and transitional housing to help build real-world coping skills. From there, residents may move into our Three-Quarter House for added accountability or enter Independent Living, where they can live with their families while maintaining sobriety and meeting program requirements. At Aspell, we understand the trust placed in us to care for loved ones and are committed to helping every person we serve reclaim their life, strengthen their foundation, and achieve lasting sobriety.

From day one, I felt welcomed and supported at Options of Marion County. The team here goes beyond the basics, guiding you through every step of recovery with patience and compassion. I’m forever grateful for the skills and confidence I’ve gained here.

When I made it to Aspell, 8 was broken, lost, angry, and alone. They helped me find my true self again. The staff are amazing, they love you when you can't love yourself. They teach you how to be a productive member of society again. Strongly recommend!!!

I walked into Aspell recovery center broken, lost, and had lost hope! I’m coming up on eight years since I walked through that door at Aspell... I never Imagined life could be this good. It all started at this place. The people who work here have become family... I’m from West Tennessee and I live in East Tennessee now. Every time I come back home the first place I go is Aspell Recovery Center. Thank you for loving me when I didn’t even love myself. ❤️❤️❤️

Walked all day trying to find a place to go and since nobody was returning my call went to them just to be critically judge with a smile yet completely rejected. Recovery is suppose to be a place of acceptance and not hold your past against you. Especially when the people holding a preconceived opinion doesn't know anything about the past they were obviously not a part of

Dr. Aspell did a great job on removing the places on my husband's head.

If your wanting to be part of Aspell Recovery then I suggest you watch out for a man named Zack Sweetman. His last name doesn't match up to him one bit. He recently kicked my husband out of his 3/4 house for being 4 minutes past his curfew. He told him he was going to put him on behavioral contract until he overheard my husband voice his opinion to another client that it was a bunch of non-sense BS. From what I've seen and heard, it sounds like Zack here needs to be put on behavioral contract and grow up a bit. My husband has been compliant and drug free since February. He works for a living and we have two boys to take care of. Since he got kicked out of Aspell housing over this nonsense, he was arrested for VOP (he was court ordered to live in Aspell housing). He is now sitting in jail over it and his release is still TBD.
