Krokodil is a synthetic, opioid-like substance produced to be a cheaper, more synthetic version of Heroin. With codeine as its base, combined with a variety of different household and organic solvents (such as gasoline, paint thinner, iodine and hydrochloric acid), Krokodil is produced in a method similar to that of methamphetamine (meth). This drug is extremely toxic, unregulated and fatal, as users usually live only 1 to 3 years after becoming addicted, the most common side effect being flesh rotting off the bone. Visit the Krokodil Page for more information.
