OxyContin is an Opioid (Narcotic) Pain Reliever. It is a synthesized, time-released pill primarily consisting of the powerful and highly addictive oxycodone. Like all Opioids, OxyContin affects the CNS by regulating activity that increases pain tolerance and decreases pain perception. Visit the Oxycontin Page for more information.
