Do yourself a big favor do NOT go to this hospital, they are evil. I was brought by ambulance, the ER doctor was very good and that is all that was good. They found out with my blood test that I had the regular flue. I got a room for one day, they never gave me any food or drinks for 24h for no reason, the excuse was that there was a miscommunication between the nurses and the kitchen. Another nurse took my blood and came right back to me telling me that she did an error and threw my blood in the garbage. She had to take my blood again. You cannot make this up. The assigned doctor never talked to me, I never saw this doctor, the nurses kept calling this doctor on 24h call who never responded. I could not have a minor cough sirop without the doctor's approval. At 10pm I FIRED the doctor I call this a GHOST. That is when the nurse was able to give me the cough sirop. At 6.30am in the morning I wanted to find out the results of all the test done the prior day, I gave the nurse 1 hour to respond. She then gave me the answer that all results were negative with no problems. I asked to check out from the hospital, she refused to release me. No reason given. They just want to milk the insurance for more time and days. I signed a release form stating under my responsability against the doctor and the hospital approval I check out. There was NEVER a doctor and they were no more test needed. The government should investigate them.

Went to the ED and the staff was amazing. Waiting time was appropriate and fast. I really did feel like I was in the best care. They checked in on me constantly and they made sure to give me the proper diagnosis and did exactly what they needed to do to treat my illness. I am very happy I went to Mountainside. It was an overwhelming pleasant experience and I happy I came here.
