Decent VA. Been coming for 6 months now. The parking can be spotty like most VAs, but usually can find a place easily if you get a morning appointment.I was able to get my appointments and referrals quickly. However, now I have to wait like 5 weeks in between chiropractic appointments. You can sign up online to be one a patient if you're new to the area. They called me the next day to schedule my initial appointment.Overall, it hasn't been a bad experience going to the VA here.

There are a ton of VA's in the US and they are all very different. Here, in Augusta, there is a different kind of VA. They have their services split between 2 locations and this helps to expedite services. This location has a women's clinic and they are VERY sensitive to women's needs. The location is beautiful with multiple buildings and lots of parking. I'm sure, like most VA's, that parking can be an issue at the wrong time... but they also have valet service. They have easy kiosks for check in and everyone i came in contact with was extremely professional and curious. This was my check in visit to this VA and they did a great job of cataloging my history from other VA's and my information. The doctor didn't seem in a hurry, so I felt like I got the amount of time i needed. The nurse who checked me in was a peach! I also visited the vampires (just kidding) and they were fabulous! I also went to radiology and it was fast and efficient service. I really appreciate care like this... and I'm grateful that I have this available to me.Lots of people like to bitch about the VA, but as someone who has had service at more than half dozen across the country, I can tell you they are not all the same. This one is really good and I'm glad I live close enough to it vs the "other one" in SC.
