About this Facility

The mission of Serenity Place is to provide opportunities for the chemically dependent person to become free of those chemicals, to maintain that freedom and to return to the community as a contributing member.It was in the early 1990’s that a group of recovering alcoholics in the Greater Dover community began an active effort to establish a home setting where men could be assisted in finding firm footing again as citizens without the scourge of addition governing every phase of their lives.

My boy friend herman is there drinking every night what kind if house is this hes drinks in his room every nnight

If it wasn't for this place and the people in it I would be dead!! The people that work there put there heart and soul into people and truely care. They don't cosign nonsense and they tell you how it is and that's exactly what I needed! I went through the hardest events in my life there and they helped me through every step holding my hand and loving me. Even the people you don't see everyday are behind the scenes doing everything they can to fight for us and go to bat for us every day!!! This is a non profit facility that fights for money to keep the doors open and a safe place for people to grow up in..something I hadn't had for a long time...they go up against anyone to fight for addicts letting people know that we're not bad people we just made bad decisions!! This is my home away from home

This place saved my life like I never thought it could,after losing so much during my addiction & stepping threw the doors n not going back I wake up with my daughter every day . if I didn't go there who knows if still b here
