I went to Pearson Hall a couple times and despite all of the negative reviews I have read I enjoyed Pearson Hall. I was a patient there years ago. I want to say 2006 and 2007. I remember some wonderful staff! You are going to detox/rehab people its not a vacation. I pray they treat my daughter as well as I was treated, because she is going next week.

Pearson Hall...... Well for me it was a amazing experience for someone that never thought they would have been a client there (DIDWEALL). On my journey at Pearson Hall I meet some amazing and I mean amazing people and I have heard some powerful stories this place not only show me how to stop use durg but it show me can't judge a book by its cover no matter how damage the book is we all go through something if durg or whatever. Honestly this place help me out physically and emotionally. Over all the staff and I mean All of them even tho I had my up and down with a few of them but if it's wasn't for them and I speaking for myself I would have made it they was the ones that kept me going because it's was many days I packed my shit and told them I'm out..lol because my detox was kicking my ass and i was detoxing off fen so if u know u know what I am talking bout and they waking u up at 5 in the morning for meds call 😂. But anywho a major thank u to My counselor Ms Sherry she going to tell u like it is like it or not. Please don't let me forget the Dog Mr Hill man this guy her is one of a kind funny as fuck no brakes all gas keep u laughing man I love y'all there but my time up here I just wanted to show some love and to let Pearson Hall no that they can't save all life but they save mines and for that I thanks Pearson Hall... RUDE PEOPLE! The "intake" woman refused to give me her name. "Why you need my name?" she said. You can tell by her poor grammar who she is and why she didn't want to give me her name. I'm trying to find out who is on the Board of Directors, so I can share with them my very unpleasant experience.

I haven't been yet but it seems like you might has well be in prison not treatment. Some people are trying to get help on there on own and this place seems to not care at all.No I don't want on drugs to treat my addiction but I also don't want to be sick. How can you read the things they want you to learn to help when your sick as a dog.I wish there was a place a good place that didn't care so much about the money but helping people like me that just wants there life back

This was the worst experience ever!! I came in voluntarily to detox. Everyone of the staff was African American, which is fine. I’m white. They treated me like crap. 0 patience for anything. The were rude and hateful. I guess now I understand racism!! The staff were extremely bothered to even answer questions. I was put in a room and it felt like jail! Wait. It was worse then jail. I was told I’d be able to call my family daily. I asked around and there were people there 4-5-6 days and was denied any phone calls. It’s loud, obnoxious, and the staff thought it was funny and was even cracking jokes ab me to other staff when I asked for my inhaler (which I provided). They thought it was hilarious that I couldn’t breathe So after a full blown asthma attack. I was finally given MY inhaler. I came in with 645$ and after they went through my clothes, wallet, and everything else I had I had 545$. The guy doing my intake called over another employee. Whispers something to him and took my wallet into another room. Came back 100$ short. When I asked ab it they said I was drunk or hi and did not know what I had. This place needs shut down. I was also told there was a in-house store, to buy drinks or whatever I needed. No. There was a coke machine that didn’t work. And a snack machine that just takes your money. I was given a pillow that felt like a tea bag and it smelled like body odor. I prison blanket and a flat sheet that had yellow stains on it. If you ever need help….. Don’t go here. I guess if I was African American it may have been different. The black guys all got extra servings at breakfast lunch. And dinner. Why did all the black guys get 2 sandwiches and I got one. They threw away pictures I had. And said they were not allowed. But my roommate ( black guy). Had multiple pictures. Long story short fuck this place. It’s a black facility that only focuses on black people.

Worst experience ever. This is the third time I’ve been to Pearson Hall. I thought 💭 third times the charm, but boy, I was very wrong!! I won’t embarrass myself and go there again. One of the girls said she felt like she had COVID so I went to the nurses station and asked why they would keep us in the dark if somebody in the building has COVID. The nurse made light of the situation and said to me that she doesn’t have COVID they can’t tell other people’s health that it’s against HIPPA. So Mr. Rodney Hill, is one of the staff at Pearson Hall that works in the admissions office, he butted his way into an A and B conversation and told me what the problem was so I said why are y’all hiding the fact that people got COVID and are up in here? He said if you wanna go ahead and leave go back your stuff Caroline. So I said hell yeah I wanna leave. I will not be back. I thought he was very disrespectful to me as a patient. His attitude was harsh. He would not let me use the phone either when I asked to call a ride after he told me to get my belongings and leave. I had to wait until they handed me my phone and book an Uber so I wasn’t prepared at all and he did not make any time for me to let my family know I was coming home or nothing. I think he needs to be fired because treating someone with so little dignity and making them feel like a child and that they “run over them”. Baby you don’t run shit over me hate to break it to you with your ugly mr Rogers sweaters you be wearing.

This place was the worst place my husband could have went to the staff are rude give you nothing but over the counter meds that you could do at home why have a place and make ppl suffer thru with no help!! They act like you have ruined their day just asking for help with anything !! They wouldn’t let me know any information I didn’t hear from him for 4 days straight ! Even tho he clearly made it to where I could find out any information ! They Make you walk laps , barely even let them go outside take the tv and phone half the times ! It’s basically jail I would not recommend going here if you are coming off any type of opioids !! Cuz they do not give you anything to HELP AT ALL !! These places are suppose to make it comfy as possible for you and they don’t ! They believe abstinence is the best policy like really this is why ppl go home and relapse because of places like this !!

This place has bad bed bugs. And when everyone was complaining the people who run the place wouldnt do a damn thing about it. Food is good during the week but sucks during the weekend. Also it feels like the staff doesnt like white people.

This place is in the middle of Fairfield between miles college and Westlake mall which is a terrible neighborhood. Most of the staff are pretty bias...If you ask them for something they act like you've ruined they're day. Also, it's government funded and a lot of the patients come because it was here or jail. The food was good and I would say it's better than jail but don't come here if you have a choice. Bottom line it's a government 'business', not a real business, so they're getting paid either way.

I was detoxing off pain medication and nerve medication. I had no insurance and was scared so badly because I had no clue as to what type of place I was going to. I'm so glad I choose Pearson Hall! Good food, safe detox, awesome staff and councilor. The overall treatment I would give a 4. For the financial bind I was in, and with me having no insurance, I will still able to be safely detoxed and really caring people. I chose to not seek more treatment, which I now regret!! I believe it takes a little longer and wished I did follow up with a program they could have helped with. There were 4-6 group sessions a day beside weekends. You do also the first 3 days, if not feeling good can stay in, but group meetings is what brings you back to life again and builds and motivates you! Even just the staff that watches you is very concerned in your sobriety and it means a lot!! For the money, which had to be paid after my stay, it was the best thing I should have done! I actually enjoyed this facility and loved their ways!
