There is an arrogant, rude women at the front office “Blanca” racist who refused me service as I was sent from La Miranda for a curtesy dose , already an inconvenience to me & out of my area to the Wilmington office she refused to give me a mask also as I forgot mine in the car but gave another patient a mask in front of me . I arrived 1st and Blanca took the people who came after me 1st even after I addressed it to her and she knew I was there before anyone else . she told me she wasn’t gonna dose me because I wasn’t in the system which was a lie because my original office set everything up & confirmed it due to nurse leaving sick so I wouldn’t leave until a nice staff told Blanca that I was right there in the system & showed her . The patients seen how she treated me , so did a staff member and they all were great, nice & supportive to me after being mistreated , discriminated. I gave no motive to be treated wrongly , just poorly categorized and judged, I talked to other people back at my location when I returned & explaining my horrible experience and patients knew exactly who Blanca was as they had their own negative , rude experience with her as well and became a conversation with patients telling staff of this unprofessional women , Blanca . My question is why is she there if she obviously hates her job it totally reflects

better then most, but that's not say'n much. Be on top of your rights. Very high turn over on consolers and the doc makes it hard to drop your dose. It is sad but they have a need to keep you on, not help get you off. Bring your will-power and anything can work though. But then why would you need them.

Zero fucking stars. The manager literally expects you to put the program before your job. How you support your kids and your family, how you keep food in their bellies and a roof over your head. Also, this ageis requires that you go to one counseling group and one peer group per week. Insurance only requires that you do one counseling group oh week. Also, they are not sympathetic to medical issues or family emergencies. If you miss a counseling appointment-be prepared to sit in their lobby for two or more hours. They will also deny your dose. The girl behind the front desk, Maria, and the week day dosing nurse are both sweethearts and the only reason why people continuingly come back to that company. Do not get on methadone. It is worse than heroin and will suck the life right out of you and turn your soul black. Due to their scheduling, you will lose your job and anything else that requires you to be somewhere on time. If you become a part of this program, I suggest doing the 21 day detox. It works, it got me clean, and it was my own personal decision just screw up and then be put on maintenance-which is a never-ending story of driving fucking for cities a way to get a cup of liquid that makes you feel like shit but keeps you're withdrawl symptoms at bay. Avoid methadone like the plague.

I have been a drug addict off and on for most of life... I moved here from southeast in a small town and have always been surrounded by narcotic pain relievers... My weight has fluctuated a lot and I've slept pretty hard subsequently I have really bad back pain and ended up getting prescription of my own for Norco and percocet... Long story short, one pill every 6 hours... Turned into four months later over 10 pills every single day, going here has really given me hope! With this as well as everything else in life. One must take ownership of their own actions, and work the program to their benefit... I am currently doing a 21 day detox where they're going to establish my comfort level as far as what milligram of dose to give me, for a reasonable amount of time... And been decreasing daily only 5 milligrams each day until I will be 'hopefully to God' Off of all painkillers!!! Theres plenty staff, counselors, etc... And they really seem to be working to help you, you never have to wait a very long time to get dosed... They also do their best to find any thing they can refer you to, at all for a meeting, individual counseling, group counseling! Come on, if you have a problem just admit it to yourself like I did... They can't help you unless you admit that you have a problem as they are not 'pain management'...

To begin with I first heard of Aegis when I moved from another city to here, i was expecting the typical run around and lack of help I was used to at other similar establishments but let me say from the ,minute I walked in I felt so welcome!!!! All of the employees from the front window to the manager go above and beyond to help you in any way they can. As I said before when I first walked through the front door I was a little nervous but that was quickly alleviated by the front desk employee who took me aside and walked me through the entire process and was there if I had any questions no matter how basic I thought they might be. This is a clinic that truly cares about helping and meeting you at what ever point you may be at. If you need services outside of the clinic's scope of practice they will sit with you and provide referrals for what ever services you may need. The groups are amazing and the counselors are well trained and truly enjoy the job they do. The manager of the clinic is a wonderful caring woman, she does whatever she can to support and help out the clients. She clearly goes above and beyond her job requirements and I am truly thankful to have had her as part of my recovery. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who is in need of the services they offer. This clinic and the excellent intelligent staff have given me the tools necessary for me to save my life, which aegis has definitely saved my life and has me back as a functioning member of society. I am truly thankful for my experience at Aegis as I have never been to a better and more caring treatment center. If you have any thoughts about coming here please them a call and the knowledgeable staff will answer any questions you have.

If I could give 0 stars. I would. This manager is heartless and SHOULD NOT be in the field of 'compassion'. This lady is nothing but the devil. She gets you hooked on methadone. And drops you from the program when you show progressions. This place should be raided and everyone be tried for their ruthless actions on their so called 'patients'
