For those struggling with drug or Alcohol abuse, a 28 or 30-day addiction treatment program may be the best way to get him or her back on the path to health and happiness.

These month-long treatment programs pack a lot of healing and progress into a short four-week period.

Individual therapy, group therapy, educational groups, family therapy, trauma therapy, relapse prevention and long-term coping skills that protect against relapse are all options that may be scheduled during these structured programs. Different programs offer different methods and therapies and some may be inpatient treatment programs, while others may be outpatient.

One-month treatment programs are great for those who cannot afford the commitment of longer treatment programs. After successfully completing these four-week programs, some may return to work or school while others may be encouraged to find a longer program to continue working on their sobriety with the help of another structured program.

Everyone is different and a one-month program may be the best option based on your needs and using history. There is a treatment program that is perfect for you.
