Anti-Depressants refer to drugs that aid in the treatment of depressive disorders. These include Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), Serotonin and Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SSNRIs), Norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitors (NDRIs), Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and other types of atypical and tricyclic medications.
