"Graduates" of this place genuinely believe that they have been "saved" by Yellowstoneㄧthat, with Honey's help, they will now be capable of existing and interacting with other people in the world. Unfortunately, this couldn't be further from the truth. The only place that Yellowstone "employees" and "alumni" will ever be able to exist is within the Yellowstone community. This is not a point of humor; it's a sick fact.Hannah Thames is sweet, charming, and can get anyone to do anything she wants with a smile on her face. For 3 years, I admired her for this. I felt pride that she told stories about me in her "honey meetings."Today, I know that Honey is also a monster. For the ultimate exploitation of her victims' and their families' out-of-pocket and insurance money, she runs and profits from an operation entrenched in sociopathic dishonesty, corruption, and abuse.Yellowstone completely debilitates its victims and prevents them from having any chance of existing again or interacting with non-Yellowstone human beings in the real world. The average resident stays at Yellowstone for 3+ years. Those who do make it out end up back at yellowstone, and - on average - will come back again and again as "retreads." Your typical "client" has been through the program approximately 3 times before. Each time they return, they convince themselves, yet again, that "this time will be different."Unfortunately, it never is. People do not get better by learning to "survive" in toxic environments of psycho-social and emotional abuse. As such, YS "alumni" are not able to develop any kind of intelligence, capability, character, or values as people in the world. They will only ever be able to operate within Honey's universe ㄧ of dishonesty, gaslighting, and manipulation. This is why these people will always return. The ones who do "stay sober" (or rather, stay "clean" - Yellowstone alumni are primarily drug addicts - not alcoholics) continue to go to AA meetings, genuinely thinking they are members of these groups. They humiliate themselves with their behavior, continuing to do so with no awareness as to how disrespectful they are being to AA or how they are perceived by actual members. Their behavior can only be described as cringey, pathetic, and sad. It's also frankly killing alcoholics who need AA to maintain its primary purpose - undiluted - to survive.YS is a place of depravity, sickness, and abuse. Honey and her "staff" are the antithesis of how people of character and integrity act in the world. Tragically, they have no way of understanding or recognizing thisFurthermore, there are people at YS who perhaps once had the ability to cultivate intelligence, honesty, and integrity, but who are are now so enmeshed in the machinery of this sham operation that they see what's going on and still endorse it. They have found a way to convince themselves that what they are doing is somehow "ok."It has never been - and will never be - "ok." YS is a scam that perpetuates itself off the ritualized abuse and exploitation of vulnerable people and their families. It benefits one person - fulfilling her narcissistic impulses, her deep hunger for belonging, and of course her own pursuit of wealth at the expense of a truly hopeless, desperate, and vulnerable population. It will not be around for much longer.

this is the worst rehab center in Orange county. My daughter was there for 9 months and she learned how to use and stay in rehab. Yellowstone is just money hungry and is ran very poorly. I spent well over $35,000. and she still is using. Their so called Doctors are not any better. I hope the city closes the place down.
