I have private insurance and they treat me like a cash cow just wanting to bill my insurance for as much money as possible, don’t care about my recovery.. the nurses treat you like a criminal daily and then they say they want to help you with your recovery? The clinic director is a joke.. I got billed for a consult with him.. yeah I was in his office for 2 minutes and all he said was the first few weeks are tough but it gets better after that.. like does he have any personal experience with recovery? I doubt it.. they treat you terribly, bill your insurance top dollar and treat you like a daily inconvenience.. you literally have to walk in and tell them your number.. if these people cared you would walk in and say your name.. I’m not a number, I’m a person that deserves respect… the nurses are all blunt and rude.. I told my lawyer about this place and will be building a case to sue by recording interactions.. for all the state funding and private insurance companies they rob …. The clients deserve better care.. but don’t take my word for it.. read the reviews and google and check out their Facebook page.. all counselors are getting $5000 sign on bonuses!! And they advertise that.. unbelievable

I've been a patient here for going on 5 years now, having 3-4 different insurances throughout. Despite knowing my co-pays/coverages to a "T", the Woodbury location's billing office continued demanding more money despite already paying my co-pays each and every visit. They wouldn't "dose" my medication unless paid, which is certainly non-negotiable. Well, after "5 years" of knowing something wasn't right, I finally decided to pursue wrongdoing. Once that ball finally got rolling, was pulled aside my "multiple" billing reps at the facility and told ALL billing-related issues were "ACCURATE", however I wasn't buying it.Fast forward "1 YEAR" later, it was determined that they owed me over $1500 in overpayments, which was confirmed nearly 2 weeks ago now, yet am being told that overpayment isn't an issue they typically deal with while patients are still in the program, and why the refund is STILL being delayed, despite already waiting 1 entire year throughout an investigation by a third party. Instead, the billing specialist continues to tell me they're doing me a "favor" and making "accommodations" for MY OWN MONEY that should've never been taken in the first place, to be refunded/returned. I'm certainly no "Einstein", but how does that even make any logical sense? Why would being in the program or not affect a company's ability to REFUND money they overcharged for "years?" How can an investigation of overpayment take an ENTIRE YEAR? What kind of "accommodation" could possibly be needed to return my money?Overall, my experience in this program has been a complete and utter NIGHTMARE! Here I am addressing an opiate addiction, yet for YEARS of continuous treatment per my own "well being" am overcharged consistently? Despite raising concerns on NUMEROUS occasions relating to billing over that timeframe, was repeatedly told I wouldn't get my daily medication unless paying MORE money. Now that the "1 year" investigation has been concluded and am STILL waiting on getting my money back, haven't received ANY apology and/or sympathy/empathy about COMPLETELY taking advantage of an "opiate-dependent" patient seeking treatment, while simultaneously having ZERO restrain from DEMANDING more money even though I questioned overpayment time and time again. At the end of the day I was 100% spot on with my intuition/gut feeling, as they have once again ADMITTED to overcharging me over $1500, yet STILL no apology?STAY FAR FAR AWAY if at all possible!!
