Transitions

We offer a 7-10 day program where men and women may safely undergo withdraw from alcohol and other drugs. The program admits Kentucky residents, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Transitions offers a 90 day program for women in Covington, KY that allows their children under age 12 to accompany them, and also a 90 day program for men in Dayton, KY. Dependent upon the situation, pregnant women and new mothers might stay up to 9 months.Upon completing the residential programs, clients may participate in outpatient aftercare counseling for up to a year. In addition, residents of Transitions’ halfway houses in Covington, Newport and Ashland undergo chemical dependency treatment. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Covington, KY lasts 6 months. Clients can receive several hours of treatment a week while remaining employed in the community.
