The Bridge House

The Bridge House treatment program, which is based on the disease concept of addiction, is intensive and highly structured. Residents reside in a dormitory setting and progress through several phases of treatment: stabilization, primary, independent living and aftercare. Through these steps the previously disordered and dysfunctional individual begins to regain his self-esteem and develop a sense of self-worth.Bridge House accepts males aged 18 and over who are able to admit to having substance abuse problems and are seeking help. The length of treatment is determined by the resident himself. An individualized treatment plan is set up for each resident in the first days of treatment. The treatment plan is created to provide the resident with the appropriate skills to facilitate his ability to develop the habits of recovery and promote positive changes and growth in recovery.
