I came here only to transfer care from another psychiatrist because I was running out of pills, very simple. They forced me to do a therapy intake which I didn’t wanna do but since they twisted my arm I did. Literally just a filling out papers session for the guy and told me at one point “hey fewer details.” So that irritated me, but I figured I could just cancel with this therapist after I got the psychiatrist referral(the only reason I came)The therapist scheduled a follow up 2 weeks out and just said “now i don’t know when they’ll call you back but let’s get something on the calendar.” Cut to 2 weeks later, near completely out of pills, I call the office again to see if I can get in(they still hadn’t contacted me regarding the “fewer details” therapists referral) and they said it was a 2-3 month backlog and to just go back to primary care doc, that I didn’t have. I became more furious in retrospect because this therapist made Dang sure to get his follow up and collect his copay, even though he had to have known that based on my timeline it made zero sense to go to him if I couldn’t get seen by a psychiatrist.Worst of all, they delete bad reviews off Google so currently it’s showing no reviews instead of the 3 heartfelt and horrible ones they had been written by others

Although I have had a couple of good Drs here (*Very Good* Dr. Elsass is fantastic and highly qualified) (I have been through 4 since starting) The front desk staff is always friendly and the facility is clean (especially since the facility upgrade)-- I have had to constantly fight/advocate for mine (and even my partners) rights literally since walking in the door there in 2014. It is a revolving door of psychiatrists and therapists so you're lucky if you get to keep any one person long term and you must time ahead in order to get appointments or you will not get to see who you need to in a timely manner in most cases. The issue(s) comes when you do have a problem, depending on what it is, they take forever to do anything about it *IF* they do anything about it at all, 'because it is a process'. Even in urgent situations, i.e. - I was supposed to be hospitalized for suicidal thoughts and behaviors and it failed to happen, 'some confusion' they said, and I lost my Dr. over it as well, this was my very first visit and my also very first complaint I had to file. I had to turn directly to my family for support and help for this and also could not get a hospital bed because I had no psych Dr. referral and had to wait even lnger for another appointment at SMH for a new Dr. They just tell you to 'go seek treatment elsewhere' (knowing you have no insurance and/or cannot afford to do so) and 'it's okay to go un-medicated for a while' (these quotes coming from Tina Rowe, Patient/Family Rights Advocate {she has been somewhat helpful and also most unhelpful). Unfortunately it's the only public access to Mental Health Care in Fremont CO., and now I would rather and Must risk my own health and safety while advocating for myself, and my partner- she has no choice now, as the treatment she's receiving there is Beyond Disgraceful and Disgusting- She was being treated CNS, Marilyn Warren, who is outright disrespectful and degrading, refusing to work with her on medications and diagnosis that she has had for over 20+ years. We now must figure how re-arrange our entire lives to find another solution rather than burn any more negative energy on trying to fight Solvista Mental Health (and to find financial solutions) for some simple requests like: My Partner-'My Dr. is completely ignoring and disrespecting me (so did my previous one, before she moved) can you help me get a new Dr.? I'm in complete distress and it is effecting my entire life and has been for over a year now, I have tried to work with my Drs now I come to you!!!-/'It's going to be a process (months)'-Tina Rowe. On the Solvista Health Care side though, Great people, Great nurses, Great facility, Dr. Arnold is Great!
