Noddles Island is North Suffolk’s Addiction Services Department providing outpatient services to people of all ages who are struggling with addiction. We specialize in treating a variety of addictions including alcohol, drugs including opioids, tobacco and gambling. The treatment begins with an evaluation and our approaches include relapse prevention, education, motivational approaches to treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy and harm reduction. Clients may participate in individual, group and family counseling, psycho-educational groups, addiction psychiatry, recovery training, relapse program, and drug screening. Our qualified staff includes certified addiction counselors, licensed social workers, addiction psychiatrists and licensed counselors.Clients experience a non-judgmental and supportive treatment which assists them in achieving increasing periods of sobriety, greater stability and healthier relationships. North Suffolk also offers services to family members and friends learning to deal with their loved one’s addiction.
