This facility couldn't be a better place to send a loved one struggling with substance abuse issues. The staff, the care, and the compassion they invest into everyone that comes through those doors is unparalleled.

It is a great place for young adults needing help.

I want to just make sure that if you have an adolescent child that is in need of professional help due to addiction to drugs or alcohol that this is absolutely not the place to take your loved one. Please know that I realize you love your child by wanting to take this step, but let me reiterate that this is not the place! This is coming from a man that has been clean and sober for 19 years. I sat and watched one of my dear coworkers in tears on a daily basis at our place of employment due to what, and how her child was being treated in this facility. What a shame it was to watch a mother of an otherwise great kid who needed help sitting there with her hands tied and ridden with guilt, because what she thought was going to be good for her son turned into one of the most nightmarish considerations any child should ever have to endure. Once a family member realizes the treatment that is being provided in this facility, it is automatically reversed and put on the parent that they are wrong. To the degree, that your child will either be baker acted, run away, or drugged, or they call the Department of Children and Families(DCF) as if what is going on their is all the fault of the parent. Remember, it was the love for their children, and the trust in this facility that allowed them to leave their children their to receive this care in the first place. Only, to have that trust be betrayed and make a situation worse than what it was before admittance to Next Generation Village. Do your homework, stay clear of this place. I'm positive the help your child needs and deserves is available, just not here! You, as a parent have other options with other facilities with proven historical success!!!

The staff here is very caring and great at helping struggling teens get better. Great place for those looking for help with a drug or alcohol addiction.
