If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was recommended through Millwood Hospital in Arlington. From the moment you walk in, staff at the front desk were very unpleasant and didn't welcome me in warmly. At least shoot me a smile! My daughter was enrolled for 2 weeks and was offered Zoloft within 2 days of entering their facility. They didn't even try to come up with a therapeutic coping plan or anything before taking this approach. I've come to the conclusion that they find it easier to medicate these kids so they can stick whatever garbage they want in their heads or just because it's easier for them so they don't have to do their jobs. I declined Zoloft and told them that they should at least try other approaches first before possibly needing Zoloft for the rest of her life, as some people do when they start taking it, and I didn't want to risk it. My daughter is only 8 years old. I was beginning to get concerned about her school work and didn't want her to fall behind in her home school so I asked if I could speak to her teacher to ask about how she was doing and if she had schoolwork I could see. She claimed she gave it to my daughter to bring it home but I never received it. When I asked if she had any in her classroom she replied no. She tried reassuring me passive aggressively that "this isn't her first rodeo and that she's been teaching for 10 years" but at that point I saw her as pretty useless at comforting me. Now, for her therapist, she always brought out the bad in my daughter. My daughter would come home and tell me she's the happiest she's ever been, but her therapist would tell me otherwise. I decided to withdraw her.

Ms. Maria. We had had 2 appointments here. We waited an hour the first time because she was late getting in. This time... We are waiting again... 30 minutes and counting. She is late getting in. Again. Seems like this is a pattern. It is very frustrating. Especially when you have a kid missing school...
