Description
Established in 1986, the House of Hope of Madison County, Inc. is an independent halfway house for men in recovery located in Anderson, Indiana. We are a United Way agency dedicated to helping end the grasp of addiction in the communities we live. We have served nearly 3,000 men since our opening and offer services on a sliding scale as well as working with local courts.
The House of Hope was founded in 1986 by the Rev. Tom Sawyer and Will Carter. We are licensed by the State of Indiana to provide transitional residential services and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, disability, national origin, age, or veteran status. We provide a structured program to assist men in establishing a foundation in recovery, learning self-responsibility, and relapse prevention. Our philsophy is based on the 12 step program.
