About this Facility'+'+
We have been working to transform the lives of individuals and their communities through innovative and effective addiction and social services in Western Washington since 1973.At our clinics in King, Thurston, and Grays Harbor counties, ETS offers medication assisted treatment for adults with opioid use disorders. We provide methadone and buprenorphine-based medications with supportive wraparound services including medical monitoring, counseling, and drug screens. We also support the REACH team which provides street-based, case management and outreach services to adults living outside in the greater Seattle area. Opioid treatment programs are the most common medication assisted treatment for adults with opioid use disorders. Patients begin treatment with methadone or buprenorphine and come to the clinic daily to receive medication from a dispensing nurse. This treatment helps patients who respond well to methadone and provides a structured, intensive, daily treatment.Over time, some patients may graduate to less structured services, with medications dispensed in weekly to (at most) monthly take-home quantities. Evergreen Treatment Services is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a national and regional reputation for excellence that has been delivering evidence-based substance use disorder and social services in Western Washington since 1973. Our interdisciplinary team includes clinicians with advanced degrees in medicine, psychiatry, nursing, psychology, social work, counseling and acupuncture. ETS uses a comprehensive approach to treatment which combines medication assisted treatment with wraparound services such as medical monitoring, counseling, and drug screens. We also support the REACH team which provides street-based, case management and outreach services to adults living outside in the greater Seattle area.

Note: This review does not speak to the quality of recovery service this organization provides, but to their seeming inability to communicate. In the process of seeking help for a family member, I emailed Evergreen to ask for some basic information on their program. My questions were very simple and general: I wondered what the length and cost of a detox program might be. The response I received was not only unhelpful, it was rude. I was told that they 'do not discuss confidential information over email, nor do we discuss treatment options with anyone besides the person seeking treatment.' I totally understand having a privacy policy, but I did not request any 'confidential information.' What I did do was email 'information@' in order to get some information, as the email address suggested I could. The response I received made me wish I hadn't. We will be seeking help elsewhere.
